The calendar of hillclimb races in the 2026 season has been published for several days, with Baba Slovakia being the sixth event this year.
The event, which in the past also belonged to the FIA European Hill Climb Championship series, is slowly but surely starting to fight its way back into the biggest events in hilly Europe. Last year, in addition to the duels in the championships of Slovakia, Austria, and the Czech Republic, an event included in the FIA Central European Zone Historik series was also held here. Currently, in addition to all the events already mentioned, an event included in the FIA Central European Zone series of contemporary vehicles will also be held. The organization was taken over by OZ Pezinská Baba, which has already shown everyone present that it can organize an event that can maximally represent Slovak motorsport abroad.
