The sixth event of the Slovak hillclimb championship, BABA SLOVAKIA, has been approved by the FIA. The reason is that the event is also included in the FIA CEZ series.
The meeting of the organizing committee of the BABA SLOVAKIA 2026 event was connected with a tour of the track and a visit from the Frenchman Rémi Sudre – FIA Hill Climb Safety Delegate. As part of the tour of the track, a discussion was also held on increasing the safety of the event participants and spectators. At the same time, the organizing committee presented the FIA Hill Climb Safety delegate with a Slovak prototype of a solution for filling the space under a simple barrier, which is currently in the process of testing and approval at the University of Žilina.
